Decider Skills

The HUB are holding a presentation for parents and guardians on ‘Decider Skills’. Decider Skills are 12 easy to digest life skills that are for everyone. Based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and used in both primary and secondary care in Guernsey Mental Health Services, these skills are highly effective. The brilliant thing is that you can teach any child the skills and be proactive about their mental health. By adopting the skills as a household, you’ll create a common language to help prevent, defuse and discuss emotions escalating.
This will place at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts on Monday 13 March 2017 at 7.00pm.
The information shared at these evenings is invaluable to anyone with responsibility for a child and attendees at past events have really appreciated the opportunity to chat informally with the experts on a one to one basis after the presentations.
