In the Summer of 2024, we worked with CCD architects and the States Property Unit to renovate a classroom to become a new library space, providing more room for class library sessions and for small group work. During the Autumn Term we moved our old library furniture in and immediately reaped the benefits.
In the Summer of 2025, we held a Sponsored Swim to raise money to replace the library furniture. This, coupled with a generous donation from PWC, and a donation from our PTFA, meant that we were able to work with InCube to design and then supply our new library.
During the October half-term break, the States Property Unit organised for the room to be painted in its new colour scheme. The furniture was delivered after the break and school staff then constructed it ready for the Schools' Library Service to organise the books.
On the 18th March 2026, our new library was officially opened.
We are extremely proud of our new library and are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
